Women's Convention 2024

1.  Formed for More - with Kate Pocklington , author of Shaped by the Spirit: Being Formed into an Outward-focused People. God is committed to working in and through each one of us. Spiritual formation is never an end in itself, for our own sake or fulfilment. God shapes and fashions us for a more that is focused outwards on the world he aches for and loves. But what does this mean for you? Join Kate and explore God’s gentle invitation to be formed for more.

2 . More than I can Handle  - with psychologist Andree Sellars.  Overwhelm; so many of us experience the feeling that there is too much to do, and that we can't meet the expectations of others, ourselves and even of God. Join Andree for this mental health elective as she explores the experience of overwhelm, and supports us with strategies and encouragement to seek God in the midst of it.  

3. More Creativity – with Kathy Vincen t,  Creative Projects Manager at The Mustard Tree OP Shop in Lilydale. What did God have in mind when He designed us to be creative beings? Join Kathy in exploring just how much more The Maker has for those with a desire to create. Learn, share and practice together through a making/creative activity in this elective.     

4. Asking More of God.   Our amazing BHWC intercessory prayer team is back, ready to serve you by praying with you and encouraging you in your own prayer life. Come with your requests and questions for Mimmie, Donah and friends.  

5. More Resting in God's grace.   You might like to take some quiet time out to breathe, rest, or walk in the beautiful surroundings at Belgrave Heights. We will provide devotional material for a self-lead solo or small group refresh with God.
