VCYC is a weekend run for youth groups.
You and your team come along and have the weekend run for you but with plenty of time to do things together.

REGISTRATION
At VCYC 2024 we will have a range of registration options including cabins, tents (provided or BYO), catered or self-catered. We have kitchens and hang out spaces available too! Find the best option for your group and check back to book in!
MEET OUR SPEAKER:
Alan Au
Our speaker for VCYC 2024 is Alan Au.
Alan is happily married to Beatrice and loves serving together with their 3 kiddos; JJ, Teddy and Harry. Prior to becoming a pastor at Captivate Presbyterian Church, Alan was a pharmacist. He loves to bake and dabbles in Brazilian Ju Jitsu. He gets excited about seeing people explore all the ways Jesus transforms our lives as our Lord and Saviour. He grew up wrestling with his Christian identity and often feeling out of place.
He is looking forward to sharing how 1 Peter gives us comfort and courage in Christ.
Workshops
VCYC is much more than a conference. We want to see youth (and youth leaders) from across Victoria equipped to know God from the Bible and to live for him -- trusting, loving and serving Jesus, his church and his world in the Spirit's power. That's why, over the course of the weekend, each youth (and leaders) at VCYC take part in two workshops that are biblical, theological, practical, and age-appropriate.

Music Ministry
Main sessions are the heart of the VCYC convention. We gather four times over the weekend for praise and worship as we gather around God's Word. VCYC is committed to making the Gospel clear and accessible for all youth who come. We want to model how the bible shapes all that we do, especially our music. VCYC has an awesome band who lead us each year as we unite to praise our awesome Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ. VCYC is committed to music that is centered on biblical truth and assists in understanding, applying, and responding to God's Word.
Prayer Ministry
Prayer is a central part of the Christian life and an important part of VCYC. We have a dedicated team that run our prayer room ('The Loft') for the entire weekend. Throughout the weekend, youth will be encouraged and given the opportunity to pray with the team or be prayed for.
